Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving i went to Pennsylvania to visit some family. It was a long drive there but it was worth it. When we got there I gave my aunt a big hug because i hadn't seen her in a long time. Soon after i went to sleep. The next day was thanksgiving and when i woke up i already smelled the food being cooked. I later did homework to let the time pass, waiting for the food to finish. Finally, the food finished and my cousins came over just in time. We all got to eat together while we watched a movie. When we finished we were so stuffed that we all fell asleep. It was definitely a long and scrumptious day.

Gang Violence

I think that gangs are ultimately stupid however i do understand the science behind it. I find that being in a gang is a life of death whether you are killing someone or someone is killing you. I guess many people join gangs because they see them as a happy family. They are not getting enough love or attention at home so they seek out for it on the streets. A gang is the answer. Another reason someone might join a gang is for protection, they feel like the have no choice but to join. My last reason i guess is following friends. I think that gangs are stupid, there is no benefit for yourself in joining a gang.

Fashion

Fashion is all around us. It is in the videos we see, the music we listen to and every where. I love fashion such as true religion jeans, uggs shoes, jordans and alot of others. My favorite is aeropostale because it is very comfortable and stylish. Most of the fashion that are popular today came from celebrities wearing them. I have my own style and try to dress stylish and comfortable so aeropostale is the way to go.

My Community

My community is mutual. Sometimes its a bad place and people are always fighting, yelling and going crazy. Sometimes its a great place where children can play and just enjoy life. I like my community but i'm not in love with it. There are certain aspects that can be improved. There is garbage on the street because people litter and spilled beverages because people clown around. This is my ghetto, my hood, my crown heights. However, there's a lot of history behind these concrete streets.
